Demonstration Units
Mobile Reedbed Systems can be delivered to your site to demonstrate the effectiveness of Reedbed Filtration on a variety of Industrial waste effluents. Each site visit normally takes 6 to 8 weeks to complete. This can be done for £1,500, which if your company buys a large Reedbed System, we can make a reduction of £1,000.
This trial situation allows for a greater understanding of how to solve problems that are usually quite particular to an individual industrial site.

Samples of abattoir waste were treated with iron chloride and centrifuged. This brought the original COD down from 145,000mg/L to 50,000mg/L. The Reedbed tests then reduced this figure to 5,000mg/L. This is the blood red sample above. When this filtrate was then treated with Tony Lumb's treatment the clear samples were produced. Below is an extract from the independent tests taken at the time.
"COD tests done today on samples you treated with PAC :
Clearer of the two samples 1,685 mg/ltr, second one 2,030 mg/ltr
Samples marked sample 1 and sample 4. Another fix is available."
Reedbeds can reduce concentrations by 95%. Some times
they make only a 64% reduction. When this happens, additional chemical
treatment is required. The combination of biological and chemical treatments
can produce spectacular results
